ZOOTOPIA 2 is undeniably the best Disney Animation sequel to date. Bigger, sharper, and so darn funny. Nick and Judy got that 'Mulder and Scully' level of hot tension going on and I hate how I need them to kiss. Disney got me going feral on main now.

'Zootopia 2' Review: Disney Animation's Return to Animal-Run Concrete Jungle Shines with Sharper Claws in Studio's Best Sequel Yet
If they don’t have that fox and bunny make-out sloth-py style in the next film, I'm rioting against Disney Animation.

Girl just give Oscar already. And Grammy. It’s Joever. Hell Macy’s Parade is not even a competition and yet EJAE, Rei, and Audrey won. This performance ate so hard, I fear everyone who performs after. Wow.

Wait they just announced Skyler Gisondo and Marcello Hernandez as Shrek & Fiona’s sons Fergus & Farkle alongside Zendaya’s Felicia for Shrek 5. Like that wasn’t even announced anywhere.

Did I just get new movie news via Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade?!

I don’t know how else to say this but Lil Jon doing Turn Down For What on a Toys R Us float in 2025 is such a recession indicator.

Didn't expect a Shaggy medley in my #MacysParade. Also love that it's a series of "can we sing this with a TVPG rating?"

ICYMI, I launched an awards interview series for Rendy Reviews subscribers. Doubling down on my site is a bold new step for me, esp after being pushed out of this harsh freelancer journalist climate.

But we need your help. #fundindependentjournalism

I had a wonderful chat with SINNERS' Miles Caton (SAMMIE!). He shares how brought his city-kid experience to Preacher Boy, embodying the film’s central themes, and co-writing "Last Time (I Seen the Sun)" with Ludwig Göransson and Alice Smith.

WICKED: FOR GOOD - whatever magic that flying broom had to propel itself into the air in PART ONE hits only severe turbulence throughout this final chapter. All before crashing onto a yellow-brick tarmac.

A rural generational house of sorrow is no den for a wild stallion.

Was enthralled by Jennifer Lawrence's primal performance in Die My Love. Not my favorite Ramsey, but had me think about derealization when out of our element.

My review: www.rendyreviews.com/movie-review...
'Die My Love' Review: Jennifer Lawrence Roars With Power in Lynne Ramsey's Potent Postpartum Psychodrama
Lynne Ramsay's direction, with Jennifer Lawrence's bone-rattling performance, renders Die My Love a raw and unflinching portrait of postpartum psychosis in a single primal depiction.

'Predator: Badlands' Review: Thrilling and Violent Predator Entry Finds Evolution in Humanizing Tale
'Predator: Badlands' is a decent Predator installment that pushes the series in a sharp direction, though it suffers as Trachtenberg’s ambitions seem constrained by studio conventions.

Sydney Sweeney tries so hard to punch through CHRISTY’s overwhelming conventionality and she just can’t do it.

(Watch the Untold: Deal with the Devil doc on Netflix instead. It’s the biopic’s blueprint fr)

My review: www.rendyreviews.com/movie-review...
‘Christy’ Review: Sydney Sweeney’s Mighty Punch Can’t Save This Generic, Oscar-Baity Sports Biopic
Sweeney, Foster, and Wever all do great work in ‘Christy’, but its lengthy and bland storytelling fails to give the source figure the powerful punch her story deserves.

Having such a bad case of New Yorker main character syndrome. Had to catch myself from questioning all my friends from other states posting their 'I Voted' stickers, "Wait, how do you get to vote for Zohran too? You don't live here."
November 5, 2025 at 12:02 AM
After growing up with bitch mayors who used fear-mongering as a means to turn NYC into a prison, especially in marginalized, working-class communities, it’s exciting to, by today, have a mayor who cares about his people and not exploiting us for his pockets. Let’s go Zohran.
