The pundit and political class tended to downplay the Epstein Files because they believed it too salacious and not serious enough to drive government policy and decision-making. Except, they are doing just that. Dismissing the importance of the Files ignores who Trump is and who he has always been.

Republicans have proven over and over again that they can’t govern. It’s a damn shame—and I hope the American people remember who stood with them and who turned their backs on them. (2/2)

There is nothing “clean” about the Continuing Resolution that was passed tonight.

Sure, it reopens the government—but it does nothing to address the healthcare crisis that Republicans created.

On Dec. 8, 2015, Jeffrey Epstein offers a NY Times reporter photos of Donald Trump and "girls in bikinis in my kitchen." Epstein tells the reporter that he "gave" Trump his "20 year old girlfriend...after two years."

When people looked into these type of rumors the Times smugly criticized them.

Time we pay this back to every Republican and member of the Trump regime. Make them regret every day.

It took 50 days and a whole lot of nonsense, but Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva is finally in her seat.

Mike Johnson didn’t stall her swearing-in by accident—he did it on purpose.

Because protecting predators was apparently more urgent than serving the people.

Current Democratic leadership has failed the American people.

Republicans are focused on funneling money to billionaires while Americans starve.

We need fighters who will stand up for the people.
Khanna: You know, someone said to me, “Well, this backbencher from the House is calling for Schumer to step down.”

I said, “The point is the backbenchers need to come to the front.” Those of us in the back — we need to move to the front. And a new generation of leadership needs to emerge.”
