I applaud Governor Shapiro for his swift actions to help protect one of Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable communities.

These reckless cuts from the Trump administration are simply cruel and will only further worsen our homelessness crisis. (1/2)
NEW: We're suing the Trump Administration yet again to protect affordable housing.

I just filed a lawsuit to challenge the Trump Administration’s decision to unlawfully cut over $100 million used to provide access to housing for our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians.

The Speaker said House Republicans are going to "continue" to reduce the cost of health care & prices.

But as 24 million Americans are seeing a shutdown of their health care without ACA tax credits & millions more are feeling the pinch of Trump's tariffs — this talk is cheap. America needs action.

I join the chorus of people from Philly and beyond in thanking @houlahan.house.gov, as well as @deluzio.house.gov and the other four members of Congress targeted by Donald Trump, for your unwavering defense of our Constitution.

There must be no place in our country for political violence. (1/2)
Fear is contagious, but so is courage. I remain steadfast in my oath to the Constitution and am grateful to those across the nation who stand with us. Don't give up the ship.

Private jets for a cabinet secretary. Renovations for a ballroom and bathroom. And now a revamp for a golf course…

This president has plans to help improve everything except the lives of everyday Americans.
Trump teaming up with Jack Nicklaus to revamp 'president's golf course' at Joint Base Andrews
The potential Andrews redesign follows construction crews already having demolished the East Wing of the White House to make room for a $300 million ballroom that Trump commissioned.

This Thanksgiving, Philadelphians can thank President Trump for higher prices.

Instead of bringing prices down on “day one” like he promised, Trump’s chaotic and destructive economic agenda is making it harder for Americans to afford this holiday season.

For 2 million Pennsylvanians- including nearly 500,000 Philadelphians- SNAP is a lifeline that helps put food on the table.

That’s why I'm joining the effort to reverse the cruel cuts Trump made to this critical program in his Big Ugly Budget.
Ranking Member Angie Craig, Hayes, Klobuchar, Luján, Schumer, Merkley lead Congressional Democrats in introducing legislation to reverse SNAP cuts and restore food security for millions of Americans.

While Trump claims “prices are coming down,” his inflationary, chaotic economic policies have already cost each PA family an average of $733!

He clearly just doesn’t get it.

It’s not like 24 million Americans are currently seeing a shutdown of their health care as their insurance premiums skyrocket or they are priced out of coverage all together… oh wait.
November 21, 2025 at 10:07 PM
One of my constituents, who relies on ACA tax credits, told my office she doesn't know what she will do if her premiums go up anymore.

At this week's @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social hearing, I asked a witness what we need to do.

His response: First thing is to “extend these tax credits today.”

Family caregivers play a vital role in our health care system, but far too often their work is overlooked and undervalued.

That's why I’m introducing a resolution with Rep. Fitzpatrick encouraging our colleagues and partners to continue championing & implementing policies that support caregivers.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the memories of our trans neighbors whose lives were taken too soon by acts of violence.

Today and every day, I strongly stand committed to combating hate in all forms and ending the scourge of anti-trans violence.

This corruption is plain as day.

Millions of Americans are currently seeing a shutdown of their health care. And thanks to the GOP’s dirty CR, a handful of Republican senators can line their own pockets with MILLIONS of your tax dollars.

CNBC has advice on protecting yourself from the coming #GOPTaxHike.

Just a reminder: This wouldn’t be necessary if Republicans worked to extend the health-care tax credits, like they did this summer with tax cuts for billionaires.

Trump promised to lower costs on “day one.”

It’s been over 300 days, and all his policies have done is raise prices for Americans.
Trump knows his tariffs are raising prices

What “best work” is Speaker Johnson talking about??

For over 50 days, House Republicans just sat on the sidelines as millions of Americans saw their health care premiums skyrocket and millions more struggled to put food on the table as Trump withheld critical SNAP benefits.
Mike Johnson: "We've spent the last 6 weeks in our districts, at least the House Republicans did. And many of them will tell you they did some of the best work of their career because they were right there with their constituents."

Today, after months of Republican delay, I voted to release the Epstein files.

Leader Thune must bring this bill to a Senate vote immediately. The survivors deserve long-awaited justice, and the American people deserve the truth!

Instead of dragging our country into another forever war, Trump should focus on how his policies are currently making life harder for everyday Americans.

Across the country, Americans are worried about how they are going to afford their health care or put food on the table.

House Republicans were on a paid vacation for 50+ days, and this is what they’re bringing to the floor?

The House could be voting:
✅on appropriations bills needed to prevent another shutdown
✅to lower the cost of living
✅to prevent the shutdown of health care for millions of Americans
The House is lining up some big bills for next week
November 17, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Let’s be clear — Donald Trump doesn’t have to wait until Congress votes on this resolution.

If he wanted to, he could tell the Justice Department to release the Epstein files TODAY.

While Trump promised to lower prices on “day one,” his inflationary, chaotic economic policies RAISED prices by over $730 for Pennsylvanians this year.

Pennsylvania deserves better than a president more focused on renovating his bathroom than lowering the cost of living!

Right now, millions of Americans are struggling to put food on the table or afford their health care coverage.

And what’s Trump’s priority? Spending BILLIONS of your tax dollars on yet another vanity project.

Earlier this year, congressional Republicans rushed to extend expiring tax cuts for the rich.

Now as 24 million Americans are facing a shutdown of their health care, this same urgency is ABSENT. And a “notebook full of ideas" sounds like Trump's "concepts of a plan." (1/2)
