Great American Comeback: https://landsman.house.gov/posts/the-great-american-comeback
We had a great community conversation with The Arc of Ohio, an organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities.

We answered questions about the impact of Medicaid cuts and how we can strengthen services that support them.

$1.5 million for healthcare is coming back to SW Ohio.

@ppswohio.bsky.social had been waiting months for an IRS refund they were owed, and when the process stalled, they reached out to our office for help – and our casework team got it resolved. 🙏🏼💙

Millions rely on these healthcare subsidies. We need a vote to extend them.

To be clear the bill denounced the execution of 100,000,000 people, not free buses.

People have been talking a lot about a Project 2027 — or a unifying plan to fix what’s broken in America.

We’re calling it the Great American Comeback. 🧵👇🏻

🚨 $11.5M is coming back to SW Ohio for @cincinnatimetro.bsky.social. The @usdot.bsky.social investment will support cleaner buses, upgraded facilities, and workforce training. 👏🏼 👏🏼

First responders keep our communities safe, often at a great personal cost. Many retire before 65 and lose access to affordable healthcare.

Our bill with @gallego.senate.gov fixes that by giving them the option to buy into Medicaid earlier, so they get the care they’ve earned.

This is voter suppression.

Families can’t wait months or years for broadband because of a broken permitting process.

Our bipartisan fix with Rep. John Joyce and Rep. Scott Peters – which just passed committee – speeds things up so communities can get connected faster.

Voters decide elections, not politicians.

We are the voting rights, voter protection, voter empowerment party, and there should never be an exception to that.
The House has approved a resolution rebuking Rep. Chuy Garcia D-IL for quietly insuring that his chief of staff would be the only Dem primary candidate for his seat in 2026. 23 Democrats joined with almost all Republicans on this 'disapproval' resolution.

America needs a comeback.

The economy is rigged, and our politics are broken. The Great American Comeback is our unifying plan to fix the economy and strengthen democracy.

It’s a plan focused on getting real things done – together.👇🏻

In the following pages, I lay out what I believe to be the unifying vision and plan, something we can all believe in and work on – and what will lead to our Great American Comeback.

With SW Ohio federal workers - from NIOSH, Social Security, and the VA.

Federal employees are under attack and we’ll keep fighting to make sure they - and their bargaining rights - are protected. 🙏🏻💙

Americans have already paid, on average, $700 MORE under Trump.

They’re making America unaffordable.
November 13, 2025 at 7:02 PM
The American people wanted the government to reopen with their healthcare protected.

What Congress just passed doesn’t do that and it doesn’t represent the priorities of folks in Southwest Ohio.🧵👇🏼

While screwing over tens of millions of Americans on their healthcare, Lindsay Graham plans to become a multi-millionaire with this vote.
November 12, 2025 at 10:20 PM
Families, small businesses, and farmers are all traumatized by how unaffordable everything has become.

We submitted several amendments to this budget to help lower costs, protect healthcare, and deal with food assistance. Every single one was rejected. 🧵👇🏼

The newly released emails make it clear that Trump knew much more about Epstein. The American people hate a cover-up and just want transparency.
November 12, 2025 at 8:00 PM
The American people wanted the government to reopen with their healthcare protected. This does not do that - and does not reflect the priorities of folks back home.
November 12, 2025 at 5:03 PM
There appears to be language in their budget that would pay a few Senators millions. This would be unprecedented corruption.

Remove this, add healthcare, and I’ll vote for it.

If Congress doesn’t extend the ACA tax credits, 32,000 folks in my district will see their healthcare costs soar. I won’t vote for a bill that doesn’t protect them.

This is their reality, and these are just a few of their stories.👇🏼

We had a great visit to the University of Cincinnati's new practice facilities, where we talked with student-athletes about NIL deals and the need for national reforms to ensure transparency and protection.
November 10, 2025 at 7:13 PM
22 million Americans will pay so much more for healthcare because of this, including 32,000 folks in my district in SW Ohio.

All while the vast majority of Americans – in poll after poll – have made it clear what they want: reopen the government and extend our healthcare subsidies... (1/2)
Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.
