Since January 20, too many of Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Republicans' actions have only served to break our government and hurt the American people. If you’ve been affected, please share your story here to help me best represent San Diego in Congress.

I am so saddened for the families of these National Guard members killed in another horrific act of gun violence. As we wait to learn more, let us honor their service. My prayers are with all West Virginians and the entire National Guard community as they grieve this senseless loss.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and families should be celebrating. Instead, they’re struggling with sky high prices. It’s time for the Trump Administration to get serious about tackling the cost of living and help families make ends meet this holiday season.

President Trump says he ‘“doesn’t want to hear about affordability,” but I do. Thank you to the community leaders and nonprofits who joined me for a roundtable discussion on the affordability crisis as families struggle to afford groceries and other bills this Thanksgiving.

Not only has Donald Trump waged a war no one asked for—it’s a war no one wants.

Americans want Trump to tackle inflation and rising costs. Instead, he's carrying out unprovoked attacks, offering little to no explanation, while also ignoring Congress’ constitutional power to declare war.

Mark Kelly served our country for 25 years and has led the people of Arizona with integrity and dedication.

To threaten him or insinuate that he is anything other than loyal or lawful is outrageous and self-serving.
Defense Department says it is opening an investigation into Sen. Mark Kelly
The investigation is related to the Arizona senator's participation in a video Democratic lawmakers made urging members of the military not to comply with "illegal orders."

Grateful to have earned 100% on the Humane World Action Fund’s scorecard. Animals bring us joy, teach us priceless lessons, and so much more. I will always champion legislation that protects and strengthens animal welfare. My friends Bernie, Chico & Future know that!

I'm glad to see the SPEED Act pass out of committee, but our work is not done yet.

As negotiations move forward, we must find the right balance to responsibly speed up the permit process to build clean energy, & I will keep pushing for bipartisan solutions that unlock America's energy potential.
A key House panel this afternoon advanced a permitting deal that included language barring Donald Trump — or any other president — from rescinding permits for energy projects: heatmap.news/energy/speed...

I look forward to continuing this momentum and working to meet the growing demand in California, and across our country, and get this over the finish line.

In a democratic society, we do not settle our political disagreements through violence.

This rhetoric from President Trump is dangerous and must be unequivocally rejected and condemned by every American. It is time to turn down the heat and stop encouraging this division.

Meeting America’s affordable and reliable energy demand requires building more infrastructure. Unfortunately, these projects are dragged out for years.

We must fix our slow, outdated permit process to build clean, renewable energy faster. 1/2

Energy demand is rising, in part due to new data centers and factories. We must reform our outdated permitting processes so we can build much-needed energy projects faster, meet demand, and lower costs. Thanks to Data Center Coalition for having me yesterday to speak about my work on this and more!

Trump promised to lower the cost of living. Instead, he started a trade war no one asked for & drove prices up.
In California alone, families have spent over $1,100 more on the same items each month since Trump took office. Hardworking Americans shouldn't be paying the price for his broken promises.
A new report shows Trump's trade war taxes are already raising prices by an average of $700 on working families.

The American people literally can't afford the Trump agenda
