Four armed Chenrezig. Each arm symbolizes different aspects of the enlightened/awakened mind: unlimited compassion, unlimited love, unlimited joy, unlimited equanimity.

Happy if anything I say can be of help.

There is great gratitude towards Aaron Collins @masknerd.bsky.social . He is definitely one of the heroes of the pandemic. Everyone seemed to be fumbling around, and there he was with continuing mask education, testing, all the spreadsheets, and humor.

Yup.

Almost every paragraph in the OP article is worth posting and reposting. It's practically a complete education on the missteps that were taken (and continue to this day)

Very happy for you. Most people chose to ignore those who were pointing out that this was an airborne - not droplet - virus and that cleaning surfaces and hand washing was not the end of it. Have never seen a CDC poster or set of recommendations, where a quality mask is the #1 recommendation.

Every single part of the article is worth quoting and posting and reposting, including how the CDC mishandled (and continues to mishandle) it. Money seems to be the "obstacle." Big surprise.

particles suspended in the air. Employers denied many health care workers access to N95s, insisting that only those routinely working within feet of Covid patients needed them. More than 3,600 health care workers died in the first year of the pandemic, many due to a lack of protection."

Or perhaps this part of the article:
"Traditional beliefs on droplet transmission help explain why the WHO and the CDC focused so acutely on hand-washing and surface-cleaning at the beginning of the pandemic. Such advice overwhelmed recommendations for N95 masks that filter out most virus-laden 🧵

Very sorry to hear. Maybe try this:
"Airborne viruses [like Covid] travel much like cigarette smoke, he explained. The scent will be strongest beside a smoker, but those farther away will inhale more and more smoke if they remain in the room, especially when there’s no ventilation."

🌹🙏💎 ~ Peace within ~ Ajahn Chah

Peace is within oneself to be found in the same place as agitation and suffering. It is not found in a forest or on a hilltop, nor is it given by a teacher. Where you experience suffering, you can also find freedom from suffering. Trying to run away from suffering 🧵

Of course it can happen. Gandhi, Mandela, MLK... There have been people who never deviated from their belief in the best qualities of humanity, in every person, and it did change the world. 🌹🙏🌎🌈

I learned about these masks from @masknerd.bsky.social who tested hundreds of masks for fit, filtration, breathability, starting at the beginning of the pandemic. He mentioned Breathe teq as an excellent mask in his last video ( that I am aware of). youtu.be/s3-Hf6wnPds?...

BreatheTeq KN95 from Canada. Ear loops. The large masks are black. Medium are gray, small are lavender. If that is of any help.
