Using an AI news anchor sounds a bit wrong at first, but basically it’s just another talking head— which is what most news anchors have become now. So I doubt the human anchors will genuinely be missed.
That’s scary. No hope of ever resting in peace for a Mesopotamian ghost. Total bummer. And it gives new meaning to the term ‘living dead.’
Being a ghost in Mesopotamia was unfortunately an extension of living in the most uninspired ways: in addition to gaining the memories and appearance of the living at death, the rulers of the Underworld assigned ghosts jobs, which they toiled at for eternity. #FolkloreSunday
It’s gross how people romanticize mental health issues. There’s nothing cool about needing to take antidepressants.
It’s cool that astronomers finally have better technology to further understand black holes. And knowing more about black holes does quell my fears a bit regarding them. The possibility of being pulled into a sensorial obliviousness of infinitely dense matter doesn’t seem too terrifying now.
According to the equations that govern black holes, the larger one of these cosmic behemoths is the lower its average density – given that the universe contains a lot of relatively empty space, could the whole cosmos be a black hole?
Is the universe really one big black hole?

Costco customers are a cult.
Coded clothing for cowards with a crooked conscience and a penchant for cruelty. That’s fascist fashion. And no matter how people try to makeover bigotry its ugliness remains the same. Evil is ugly, bigots are evil.
Fascism is back in style.

Forget the old symbols: swastikas, nooses, Confederate flags, skinheads’ shaved heads and combat boots. Extremism has a new look, and it is as fashionable as ever.

Zohran Mamdani is cute.
Neat. Plus it’s also the plot of many psychological, paranormal, and science fiction thrillers.
It sounds like a horror story.

Capgras delusion is a real but rare psychiatric syndrome in which a person believes a loved one has been replaced by an identical impostor. First described in 1923, it is linked to psychosis, dementia, and brain injuries.

Oh no. Not DOCTOR Wendy Osefo and Happy Hubby Eddie. Lol I’ll never understand why these housewives are willing to risk it all just to keep up silly pretenses for social media and Bravo. RHOP isn’t even worth watching like that.
Seems like my ‘Discover’ feed has forgotten what I like discovering. So pardon me while I try fixing it.

Muppets. Sci-fi. Food. Muppets. Sci-fi. Food. Muppets. Sci-fi. Food. Muppets. Sci-fi. Food. Muppets. Sci-fi. Food. MUPPETS. SCI-FI. FOOD. MUPPETS. SCI-FI. FOOD. MUPPETS. SCI-FI. FOOD. MUPPETS!!!

“Our projections show that by the year 2025, not only America but the entire planet will be under the protection and the dominion of this power alliance. The gains have been substantial, both for ourselves and for you, the human power elite.”
Wanting fast food but not wanting to pay fast food prices will end up being the origin of my villain story.
Idk what the pancake waffle debate is about, but I subscribed to the labeler and it said I was a ‘Pancake.’ So I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.
Ugh. There are too many weekdays before the weekend.

This brought me a hint of joy so I thought I'd share.

No better time to start a rewatch. 🛸
I have so many words and hashtags muted to the point of finally achieving an algorithmic zen of total unawareness. It’s very nice.
Neat. Let the parade of psilocybin commence.
Cool. So basically our zeitgeist is digital. And just like a physical footprint in the sand, the currents of time can wash it away or harden it into a deeply embedded imprint for future generations to rediscover.

But I wonder what will be deemed worthy of digging up versus what will be left buried.
What will future historians know about the 21st century?

You might imagine they will study our every meme and have unprecedented insight into our thoughts because of digital media. But our information is surprisingly fragile. 🧵⬇️ (1/5)

Why is Halloween so popular with adults?

Shifting ideas about what it means to be “grown-up” may be part of the answer.

Idk what ppl are expecting from celebs since they aren’t impacted by what’s happening to America. Celebs are rich so they don’t care about fascism since it doesn’t affect them. Colbert & Kimmel lost their job but they’re millionaires. They’ll be fine. And Fallon is only focused on his income too.
