“By your endurance you will gain your souls.”
—Luke 21:19 (NRSV)

Life will shake you.
Seasons will test you.
But Jesus reminds us: the storm does not have the final say.
Endurance does. Faith does. God does.

Keep going—your strength is growing.

“The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.”
—Psalm 146:8 (NRSV)

When life wears you down, remember—God still sees.
He sees the small offerings and the unseen sacrifices.
What others overlook, God honors.
Stand firm, knowing His eyes are still on you.

Honored to have been a keynote speaker at the NEA’s HBCU Summit 2025 in Atlanta. My talk, “From Protest to Power,” explored how faith, education, and action can transform communities.

As much as attendees thanked me for an inspiring message, they were the true inspiration. ✊🏾📚

“O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples.”
‭‭—Psalms‬ ‭105‬:‭1‬ ‭(NRSV‬‬)

Don’t hide what God has done in the dark valleys of your life. Speak it, declare it, shout it. When your faith speaks, you awaken hope in someone else.

The Black church is strongest when it’s prophetic, not partisan.

This new IRS ruling opens the door to dark money and political manipulation in sacred spaces. We’ve never needed permission to speak truth. Thus ruling comes with risks we can’t ignore.
