The end of a very hot day & RFS is reporting 103 fires across NSW. Houses have been lost on the coast. The heat was intense. Far worse inland. 43.9°C at White Cliffs aka 111.02°F. Natural weather is one thing. But, #FossilFuel knows they’re driving global heating, & are responsible. #MakeThemPay 🇦🇺☀️🔥
Up to 16 homes lost as firefighters battle more than 50 fires along NSW coast
More than 1,500 firefighters with 300 vehicles were deployed by the RFS across eastern and central NSW amid extreme heat.

Another small path & front garden step done under 100% #BlueSky. Last blocks are in & th area on the right is ready for geofabric. Tomorrow morning we'll pick up sleepers for two new raised garden beds. 37° tomorrow & 39° on Saturday. Only working mornings. 🇦🇺 🐨 ☀️ 🌱

This was my favourite guitar pick. It's just a common .73mm pick. But for some reason it always felt better. Alas no more. 🎸

Our spring path project is almost done. The native ground cover out the front was not doing well, so it's been replaced with creamy rhyolite. We'll also add 2 raised veggie beds to the right of path to replace the last of the patchy ground cover. Hopefully we'll be done before Xmas. 🇦🇺 🐨 ☀️ 🌱 🎄

We all know, & if we don't all know, then we should all know. Extreme, catastrophic, 1 in 100 year weather is now daily weather. Somewhere on Earth, every day, someone is getting smashed. Who should pay? The World Court says nations. Nations know it's #CorporateFossilFuel #MakeThemPay 🇦🇺 🌏 ☀️ ⚖️ 🌱

Our spring path update is all but done. It's been a bit slow due to a string of 35-36°C days. Still the west side of the house is cool in the mornings. It's dry & not much light here. Only weeds grew. So we extended the compacted rhyolite garden path along this side too. 🇦🇺 🐨 ☀️
