To rewild Britain at scale, we need bold businesses to lead the way. That’s why we’re going to Blue Earth Summit.

At our stand, we’ll be sharing how investing in rewilding can:
✔️ Regenerate ecosystems
✔️ Deliver climate and biodiversity impact
✔️ Build resilience for communities and businesses

That’s why, as part of the Scottish Rewilding Alliance, we’ve submitted a response that calls for rewilding to play a vital role in Scotland's land management plans — with the creation of special rewilding areas across 30% of Scotland by 2030 and the formation of a new Rewilding Nation Bill..

Scotland’s Fourth Land-Use Strategy is an important opportunity to reassess our direction of travel and begin to plan for the long term future of nature recovery in Scotland.

Land for nature’s sake matters 🦊

We ask a lot of Scotland’s land. It feeds us, houses us, keeps our minds and bodies healthy. But with nature in freefall and the climate breaking down, are we making the most of what the land has to offer?

These ecosystem engineers are transforming the landscape, creating space for countless species and showing just how powerful rewilding can be in restoring nature.

We’re proud to have supported the scaling up of Wilder Blean with £100,000 through our Rewilding Challenge Fund.

What better way to celebrate #WorldAnimalDay than with a baby bison arrival? 🦬

The Wilder Blean project — led by Wildwood Trust and @kentwildlife.bsky.social — has welcomed its fifth bison calf, marking the start of a third generation living in Kent’s ancient woodland near Canterbury.

Our wildlife is...missing something. The lynx belongs in Scotland. Will we bring it home?

By extending the European Protected Species status to beavers, the Welsh government has made it illegal to deliberately harm them or damage their habitats.

They’ve also confirmed the creation of a Wales Beaver Forum which will provide a way to address concerns constructively.

Big news for beavers in Wales 🦫

We’re thrilled the Welsh government has legally recognised beavers as a native species requiring protection. This is a huge step forward in ensuring beavers — and the incredible ecosystem services they provide — are re-established in Wales.

Scotland can be the world’s first Rewilding Nation, restoring nature across 30% of our land and seas for wildlife, climate and people — but only if we break through the barriers holding rewilding back.

Thank you to everyone who stood by us today.

Today we told the Scottish government it’s time to stop stalling and start rewilding 👊

Along with fellow members of the Scottish Rewilding Alliance, we gathered outside Holyrood to make our voices heard.
