I feel so much love for the earth, the plants, all living things big and small. Compassion and empathy literally cost nothing and it’s so important, especially right now to be kind and patient with others.
I had a dream that I rescued a turkey named Dexter from a factory farm. I remember holding him in my arms and trying to escape with him before anything bad happened to him.

Yes, this! And don’t just donate to indigenous causes on settler-colonial holidays; make it a year-round thing! Donate to indigenous environmental groups on earth day, or even when it’s *not* earth day!
If you're observing the settler holiday this week, and you have a little extra, please consider donating to mutual aid for Indigenous people or supporting Indigenous causes. We're all here still on stolen land. My favorite is the Native American Rights Fund, but there are many great ones!
