Just another Saturday morning at home, with my 12 yr old niece and her gran discussing how to murder someone with a frozen turkey.

So, let me get this straight.....the Orange Felon authorises multiple murders at sea by first sinking boats and then killing the survivors, but...someone just gave him a peace prize? 😳

What the actual living fck is happening?

All very well for the idealistic cotton-wool wrapped 'never seen conflict' Gen-Z's of #Germany to protest the new voluntary military service law, arguing 'war offers no prospects for the future & destroys livelihoods'.

If Russia or other terrorists come to yr country & you have no military, what

It still baffles me that Vaughan Williams could compose something as sublime as the Tallis Fantasia, but also come up with a piece as awful as Lark Ascending, 15 minutes of ear-destroying, screeching violins and no discernable melody. Bizarre.

Regardless of Israel's abhorent recent behaviour which, if it were any other country wd warrant automatic world censure, geographically they shouldn't have been admitted to #EUROvision in the first place.

But yet again, they don't even get a wrist slap & are allowed to compete. Russia commits mass

It isn't only #BBCNews that struggles with poor or absent proof-reading.

This gem is from the #Guardian. 😄

Second night in a row I'm hearing birdsong at 11pm and it's driving me nuts.

I know some birds sing through the night because of artificial light pollution messing with their internal clocks, but I have honestly never heard it myself and it's making MY clock think it's nearly dawn....😳🐦

I discovered today that when #Gemini assistant was added to my phone in the last update, it hijacked my power button so I couldn't turn my phone off. It had to be manually restored.

Seems to be a widespread problem, but not on all phones. If you have a #Samsung #Android, you might want to check! 🙄

We really have hit peak stupidity when 'competitive spreadsheeting' is considered a 'sport'....

The who, Beeb? 🤨

What's even more embarrassing for the inept editor who has clearly forgotten Will and Kate's not-so-recent royal promotion, is that the accompanying article correctly identifies them as the Prince and Princess of Wales...

Looking for Xmas Dad inspiration & really tired of the stereotypes. Surely I can't be the only one with a dad NOT into football, golf, fart jokes, immature gags & getting pissed?

#Etsy for eg is full of gifts of this type. Assumes dads are all sweary, immature, lazy, inept & unhygenic.🙄

Concerning that experts are going to warn against routine testing of all men for #prostatecancer unless they have the brca gene.

Given most men are a bloody nightmare to get to a doc even if they DO have symptoms, and are highly unlikely therefore to know if they have the gene or not, many will

Thanks to my sister's steely nerves on the ticket site, WE'RE GOING TO SEE #BELLOWHEAD In OXFORD NEXT YEAR!

Says it was a bit of a bunfight though and tickets were mostly gone in minutes.

Always a stressful activity! 😵‍💫

Turning off #ClassicFM every time they play Christmas carols because IT IS NOT CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! 🤬

Jingle Bells and Bleak Midwinter on the 27th November is ridiculous.

Anyone know what the average wait time is to receive UK Gov wills?

I know they'll be busy after the surge in requests before the price rise, but other than the 'thanks for the money' email I've heard nothing at all....🫤

Today noticing the stark difference between #Etsy sellers, who package items beautifully & use postal tracking, & mass-selling #ebay vendors who don't give a crap if their non-tracked, 'just bunged in the post' item is AWOL in transit, arguing 'Sorry, but at this time of year RM often has delays'. 🙄

A li'l timeline cleanse to hopefully make you smile!

Introducing Susy. 9mths, mad as a fish, currently in Spaniel adolescence so not listening or responding, destroying everything in sight & making us wonder WTH we were thinking.

But she's loving, hilarious & still just a baby. We'll get there! 😁🐕

I'm curious, what software do others use when working out tentative trees?

There are a lot of tree-builders, but I've found nothing to beat Genopro for letting you create from scratch. It's brilliant for adding notes, & workings out, and the page expands the more you add. 💙

YES! 🥳 Back together at last!

For over 300 years William & wife Judith's portraits hung together in the same collection, until it was sold off in the 1950s & they were separated. Judith was bought by Tate, & William by a private collector.

Fascinating conclusion to #Hitler dna doc last night.

German newsreel of him greeting troops was edited for best effect, but original shows his left hand behind his back, shaking. Likely Parkinsons.

A great example of why you shd always read/view the original source to see the full picture.
