I always felt it a wonder Digby survived the war without being knocked off by his own side, let alone the enemy. 😄

Me too. However that's a dream atm as my car broke down and my rescue isn't estimated until after 22.30pm at the earliest.

My little house is sitting there waiting for me and I'm not there. Bye bye introvert Saturday night in front of the telly all by myself in my pjs and woolly socks. 😪😪😪

I have seen and tried this, but sadly it's no more help to me than the original offering of Thrulines, which I now don't bother using. The only DNA matches indicated are my mother, uncle and sister, so in my case wholly useless.

I hope it is of more use to other people though! 😄

sort of prospects for the future do you think there will be?

We have generations of Europeans now that have never known war. Combine that with the entitlement & snowflakey attitudes of current gens & if a military crisis DOES hit, Europe is fcked.

We pay for it, sadly no way will we be pulling out. UK is too gutless and too far up Israel and US backsides to push back on this. 😔

murder & is rightly kicked out of everything, but Israel isn't even ejected from a song contest. It's sickening.

Respect to the countries boycotting. I wish UK would but we're too spineless.

I was not amused! 🤬 I checked online forums in case it was just me, but found people all over spitting feathers about it.

It's bad enough having unwanted AI bloat installed, but it literally hijacks yr existing functions with no warning.

You can undo it in the power button settings, thk goodness!

A lovely idea, thanks! 🥰 Now I just have to pin him down and get him to actually suggest something! He's a bit 'mad professor'....🤓

only 2 pages apart in the parish register, yet dozens of trees say he went to Virginia in the 1620s & founded a dynasty.

Most clearly copied from each other, not one doing the due diligence of checking the actual documents right in front of them. So in the end their family history is a total lie. 🙄

Indeed. My pet hate is US 'researchers' (and I use that term advisedly) who are so desperate to prove pre-Mayflower British ancestry they will literally believe anything as long as the surname matches.

A London family I research had a boy born in 1594, died in 1599. His birth & death are

We used to get school uniforms from Jacksons, and they were one of the last shops in town with one of those pneumatic cash tubes!

There are no shops like that anymore. 😒

Excellent! I've now got three of my four! Amused annoyance that none were for my own family coz none of the buggers left anything, but I got one today for my sister in law, which has some interesting stuff about her 6x ggrandfather. 😁 He seems to have owned a big chunk of Durham......
