You can also hang donuts (with a hole) from a string for the same effect.

Hang forks on strings from up high (a tree? Door trim? Swing set?) and stick apples to them and have them “bob” for apples without the water boarding and germs.

Most conditions and diseases exist on a spectrum.

Each persons experience with where they are on it is allowed to feel like it’s hard without someone coming in and telling them “actually it’s not that hard because mine is harder”.

It’s not a suffering or comparison Olympics.

I’m not going to tell a person with a peanut allergy that it’s not that bad or that I have it worse.

Living with any severe food allergy is hard!

We just all have a different capacity to what we can handle or have to deal with.

I have severe, complex and debilitating allergies to multiple things where most people can’t understand the scope

Some people have a severe allergy to one food and it still deeply impacts their life.

People can have varying degrees of a condition and it can still be hard at all stages for each.

One of the things that’s rubbing the wrong way about all of this is the lack of a call to action or solution.

Because there isn’t a single one that wouldn’t contradict everything they stand for.

I love when people don’t understand the party flip that happened in the 1960s and act like current political ideologies still line up with anything before that.

It really doesn’t matter much today what party started what organization or supported slavery if opposite embraces it.

This week my kids have been obsessed with Found/ Tonight by Ben Platt and LMM

And with it being a week after my kids had a credible shooter threat and everything else that has been happening in the news it’s a lot to take in.
