Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.

I'm sorry, I can't keep doing that one over and over, but while there is a free media, opposition parties, functioning courts, and the glorious chaos of federalism, we are far, far away from fascism.

I took so much heat during that primary for saying I did not want Mayor Pete as our first LGBTQ president, but a lot of it is because of the shit he says like this, where his "former US Navy Reserve lieutenant" is showing

It’s probably not considered proper policing to lose situational awareness because you are looking at your phone screen while filming, and then to draw and fire your gun while still holding on to your phone.
