Friday night was one of my favourite @rsno.bsky.social concerts in a while. The first half was a virtuoso performance from Jess Gillam playing the Scottish premiere of Anna Clyne's Glasslands. And then, BOOM! Shostakovich 8 - one of the most incredible, powerful pieces, so apt for today #bravo

Worrye not about 'being productive,' for thou art not a product. Thou art a star daunsinge yn a hopeful skye. A signal blinkinge across centuryes and worldes. Thou art a song performid just once but perfectlye. Thy tyme ys unquantifiable.

My wife asked me what I wanted for xmas I said "a limited edition Antigua finish Fender Bass VI". She looked at me intently. "Or new pants" I said. Anyway here's a new song where I pretend I am playing one.

Loved it when I saw it at Baltic Centre in Gateshead last year. Amazing account done in the right way.

No idea if proud dad posts are a thing here but . . . Sam knocked it out the park on drums for Edinburgh School Rock Ensemble at Usher Hall. In 30 years never played to more than 150 people at a time. At 16 Sam's done a gig for 2000

Yes I use something much more precise on my master bus. It's ideal for guitars, bass, drum tracks.

Bx limiter for 9.99 is also great. I have 10 or more instances every mix. Dead simple, ultra low load.

I absolutely hate dedicating hours and £££ on Ticketmaster. Anyways that's Lana Del Rey booked at Hampden #summertimesadness
