I remember when this guy (whose father was a toolmaker) was just starting out at An Occasional Theme & Sons pro bono (actually he hated Bono) legal sketches. He’s probably not too big for his boots, but his podcast is too big for you not to listen to it. So, listen. Er, to it.

Much like Dodger before it, Dexter Proctor appears to be the funniest comedy this Christmas with by far the best cast. Shame it’s tucked away on the CBBC channel.

Time to resurrect my favourite joke. Q. What do you get if you cross Chris Rea and Dire Straits? A. Pretty much the same gravel-voiced MOR as they do on their own. I mean, they’re complimentary, but there’s nothing really new here. RIP Chris.
