My robot vacuum cleaner no longer works and can someone explain why a robot in Paris is linked to US East? Talk about European digital sovereignty…

(Also, the internet of things sucks and please don’t connect anything vital to it.)
If you're wondering why so many of your apps and services aren't working properly this morning, it's because the AWS region US-EAST-1 is having... some problems, and that's where quite a lot of apps and services host what they need to function (👋 hi Duolingo, NYT Games etc)
It was Lara, the lesser-heard-from tRump needed excitement.
There were lots of police at the No Kings rally on Lafitte Greenway in New Orleans and--because it's New Orleans-- these were the same police who patrol and keep everything safe and orderly enough during Mardi Gras; so they were completely cool.
if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men.' "
We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation—enlightened as it is—
helped launch the first No Kings movement on this continent. He was quite clear about what he was doing. He wrote:

'The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.
This government was dangerous enough when it was riding high. It's twice as dangerous now that it's frightened and seeing signs everywhere of actual energized resistance. This weekend may well be a turning point in one way or another. Up here, a successful street agitator named Samuel Adams
Antifa as though it were an actual organization and not the accumulated bogeymen of a half-gone president? Because they know it's the only job they all have. If the antiwar left had had this level of abject genuflection, we'd have been out of Vietnam by 1959.
Otherwise, why would Karoline Leavitt feel comfortable rattling away about terrorists and Hamas? Why would the Speaker of the House make such a transparent jackass of himself every time he gets behind a microphone while the government is shutdown? Why the constant references to
The hysteria from the administration and its pilot fish are rooted in a dedicated belief in unreality that is unprecedented in the history of the American government. It is peddled by the administration with supreme confidence that its most loyal supporters will buy whatever it is they’re selling.
Majority Whip Tom Emmer (Minnesota), and Republican Conference Chair Lisa C. McClain (Michigan), have all described the protests as events for people who “hate” the country, with Johnson and Emmer going as far as to suggest the protests are meant to appease a “terrorist wing” of the Democratic Party
"For more than a week, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) and other GOP leaders have cast the “No Kings” rallies as un-American, using increasingly hyperbolic language. Johnson and other members of House GOP leadership, including Majority Leader Steve Scalise (Louisiana),
I'll leave you with words Charlie Pierce wrote in his column on Friday. If you or a staffer--who hopefully is not on that Young Republicans text chain--are still reading, slow down and read what Charlie and Samuel Adams wrote:
We were all afraid of America becoming more authoritarian, more like Hungary or more like--God help us!--Russia or China ... or Saudi Arabia. But we showed we are not afraid of standing up to Trump, or the appalling Vance, or Bondi, or Noem, or Patel or ... you.
and here's some of what I saw and experienced. The No Kings rally on Lafitte Greenway in New Orleans was HUGE, peaceful, serious and also light-hearted, with many funny costumes. There was no fear ... and no fear of Trump, his acolytes, his minions or his co-conspirators.
I doubt it because seeing or attending would have contradicted the talking points of lies, but maybe you did. It was not Antifa or followers of Hamas ... and it was certainly not members of Young Republicans Who Love to Spew Hate, Racism & Sexism. I am a 77 year old, white, former lawyer,
I wrote the following letter to my pathetic Congressman--Steve Scalise, Majority Leader--and Senators--the notorious Bill Cassidy and the absurd John Kennedy.

"Well, the "Hate America" rallies have concluded. I wonder if you saw any of them (maybe even attended one).

Imagine being a MAGA lady getting handcuffed by the cops as a bunch of protesting liberals chat "USA! USA! USA!"
When the FAFO hits a MAGA Karen for pulling a gun on peaceful protesters. #NoKingsDayOct18th
Oooh - short notice, but I got it, Elie! See ya on there.
I made mine and went and found ANTIFA hordes swarming around the Lafitte Greenway in New Orleans ... and it was great! Even the CEO of Antifa was there!!

Dear President Trump (Sir),
This is what a real king, real royalty does. Perhaps you can take a lesson from them?
Love, One of Your Loyal Subjects.
P.S. Just love all that gold.
