Drawing fanart or making fic also keeps the interest alive in the setting and story. Don't feed into the cultural strength of the franchise. It is a machine that makes money for JKR's desire to hurt trans people - and transphobia is ALWAYS the canary in the coal mine. The rest of us won't be safe.
