Rotbraunes Eichhörnchen,von vorn gesehen, mit hauptsächlich braunem Fell, steht vorgebeugt auf einer Wiese. Die Hinterläufe sind weit auseinander gestellt, die Vorderpfoten sind auf der Wiese zusammengeführt, der Kopf ist gesenkt, dicht bei den Vorderpfoten. Der Schwanz ist nach oben gestellt. Eichelhäher auf einem dünnen Ast, weit nach vorn gebeugt, schaut nach unten.

El Chochín común es un pájaro muy inquieto y en constante movimiento , aquí aparece en una pose "calmada" , pero tuve que echarle una ráfaga de 20 fotos , para conseguir una un poco decente . La foto es un poco oscura ,porque está hecha en un bosque de pinos y mucho matorral , aparte de que en el Monte de Vilaboa, en Otoño/Invierno , casi siempre está nublado o con niebla .
