For just a little while, survival mode turned off and I could sleep. I could relax. I could create. I felt safe and I didn't grind my teeth or clench my muscles. I wasn't sick.

I have to get back to my partner, I don't think I can keep going like this now that I know there's better out there.

I forget sometimes it's not normal, it's been normal to me. I've had to live this story, survive my life, build a better self, and still choose happiness so to me it's accepted and okay.

I feel bad for the times I forget it's scary for others and they have to go through strong emotions about it

Good news

Dad is showing improvement, it's been such a relief to not be preparing for the worst at all times.

My back injury is still improving to the point I can be at my work for hours and not hurt.

My infection cleared and I can breath again

FUCKING FINALLY 2025 has been rough!

I can't sleep unless I have the shirt I washed while I was visiting my love's home. It's the same smell.

It's never felt like this before, I thought that confessing would make it easier, but it's only shifted the heart ache.

I miss them.

I got told, "It's the honeymoon phase. It will pass."

I made a decision. I'm going to make an effort to always feel this way, even if we're together forever I'm going to remember these early moments and build new moments on them so that I never get "used to love" so that I'll always cherish it
