Last year my coldest run barely dipped below 11, and the very coldest are rarely outside of the second half of January. Plus there was a lot of frozen snowmelt to deal with, so that sucked. But my back pain was less.

Technically an improvement. My 1st mile was 13:06, but my 3rd was technically in pace range. It’s very unlikely that I’ll be able to run tomorrow with snow forecast overnight, but a healing day won’t hurt.

What a miserable time. I jogged about a quarter mile before turning on the watch, in spurts, just to warm my back up. Got my first mile in about 12:25, not bad considering how hard it was to get going, but that was all I had. I jog ran, jogged, walked a touch.

Sometimes I hate the Garmin. I gave it everything I had. It took over a mile to get the whole heel/ankle deal to loosen up enough to get to pace, but then I pulled 6 straight great, at pace miles.
