Nonetheless, Danell was a sweetheart of guy, was totally loyal to Ness, & stayed in the band from 1979 til his death, through many more lineup changes with the rhythm section.
He wasnt a founding member. There was an earlier Social D. lineup in 1978 with Casey Royer & Rikk Agnew, among several others. When Ness insisted that Danell join the band in 1979, even though he didnt know how to play an instrument, all the other previous members quit inprotest.
