I'm Steve Dillon (and my wife Tracy) run a small farm in SW Florida. Raising Organic Vegatables and Herb Seedings and plan on starting a CSA in the area. We raise sheep for Wool and breeding stock.

Had a rough week. Battling the tail end of a cold and an end of year work project.
I was feeling a bit better and was trying to move our two cows Wednesday morning. I was fine until I wasn’t, and near fainted in the field. Bad enough my wife called 911. Blood pressure very low

We were given some thanksgiving pumpkin decorations that we put to good use on the farm. Some wonkyness in the camera operation as I helped the sheep into the pumpkins.

So Thanksgiving report I woke up with a cold that got worse during the day. This evening i scoured the medicine drawer like a heroin addict and found some meds that were only 6 months expired.

@kagi.com Have you ever considered putting your engine to work to make custom Bluesky feeds. It would be nice if making a feed was as simple as a few search terms, or accounts. Maybe with a feedback loop of likes generated by the feed.

Raising sheep is complicated by parasites that live in the gut and consume blood or nutrients there. In the USA there is not enough sheep farms to create enough demand for new medicines. Genetic selection of breeds resistant to parasites is key. Both our breeds are resistant.

So to my surprise, the Biden infrastructure act, is going to bring real wired internet to my house. I'm 7 miles outside a town of 13,000.
The downside is that it will be Xfinity (but better than Century Link).
I have a GREAT ISP that answers calls on the 2nd ring, but it's microwave and 30mbs. hmm.

Which of these is not like the others? They are out on nice pasture all day long, but they really like their hay when. We bring them in at night.

Our Gulf Coast Natives have some of the same identifiers. A black dot here or there, golden or white face. I guess I should make some introductory videos.
