Now that I have the Ichiran copycat on lock. I decided to seek out noodles that are more like Hakata-style in texture.
These 99 Ranch thin noodles ABSOLUTELY do the trick!
Boil at half the recommended cook time and BAM! Al-dente, whispy, angel hair-like in texture. Just like Hakata-style.

Omg. I don't know why I waited until now. This is probably one of the best animated shows I've seen since Gravity Falls.

I don't know how or why, but ever since I got sick last month my circadian rhythm has been locked into 10pm-5am.
By 10-10:30 I'm so out of it I absolutely have to go to bed. But once I wake up at 5am I can't go back to sleep.

Thrift score! Found these two ginormous bags on rollers for $15 each. One can fit all of my folding chairs AND stools, and the other can fit my whole burner set!

An ongoing and interesting pattern in my life is that many folks who have tried and failed to break me wind up breaking themselves even more.
I step away, I'm done trying to help, and as a result their lives just implode and I narrowly avoided their attempts to take me with them.
