Do not forget that Trump's first action was to release 1,500 violent criminals who once fought for him and now owe him. So in true gangster regime style, he started all this with an army of thugs who could threaten, overtly or tacitly, anyone (and their families) in his way. GOP capitulation anyone?
Most accurate description of ICE's actions AND mindset. The responsible thugs deserve life in prison. Or worse.
The deadly shooting in Minneapolis today was a straight-up execution of a protester by Trump's federal brownshirts.

The thugs wrestled him to the ground. They pistol-whipped him, then shot him multiple times. They murdered him.

From a #NYTimes editorial just now: "....Truth is a line of demarcation between a democratic government and an authoritarian regime...."

From the number and gravity of the lies told during Trump's 1st Admin, and parroted by right-wing media,he and they were striving for authoritarianism from day 1.

Cannot comment much on this - he was being a hero to that woman, but also a hero to normal people who do not want our country turning into a fascist state. Disgusting irony in that great grandfathers of the inhumane goons that shot Alex, probably fought the same fascism those goons displayed today.
Family of Alex Pretti, who was shot dead in Minneapolis today, releases statement:

"The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs."

I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

Anyone who thought it can't happen here, it has happened!!

"GOP Senators??? You've got a problem..!"

You have blood on your hands - this is YOUR doing.

Other ICE agent: “Did you take the shot? Take the shot.”

Murder. Intentional & arrogant. By someone who was led to believe he would be allowed to do it.
He has a surprise coming.
Because this administration WILL be gone, eventually. That's when he will learn that he never had "immunity"-just bosses who didn't prosecute him.

This policy already denies nearly 50 million women and girls access to contraception each year. Trump would rather cut off food, medicine, and lifesaving care during war and famine than allow doctors to provide legal health care or information. This will cost lives.

The House Ethics Committee found that Matt Gaetz sex trafficked minors.

He raped minors.

Mike Johnson kept the report sealed.

This was the man they wanted to be Attorney General.

They knew he was sexually abusing kids … if they covered for him why don’t you realize they’re covering for Trump?

Donald has been posting unhinged, incoherent ramblings for a decade now, but his recent threats against sovereign nations brings us into totally new and dangerous territory.

It’s time to start asking Republicans why they continue to back a man who is so obviously out of his mind.

#NYTimes again nails it for unjustified and unreal squishy temperence: "Falsehoods Fueled Trump’s First Year Back in Office"

How about: "Lies, Ego, Graft, and Illegal Power Grabs and Orders Fueled Trump’s First Year Back in Office"

There, fixed it for you.
