Remembering how the DC press corps united to defend Fox News during the Obama administration for something that now seems quaint. There better damn well be a loud and clear message from all of them that this will not stand.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I was a Rotary Club member for a long time and donated to the Polio Plus program aimed at eradicating the disease worldwide. The program has been so effective that it's only endemic in Pakistan and Afghanistan. If polio comes back to the U.S., these ghouls need to be held responsible.
Breaking News: Rejecting decades of science, the chair of the federal panel that recommends vaccines for Americans said that shots against polio and measles — and perhaps all diseases — should be optional. The vaccines are credited with preventing disability and millions of deaths worldwide.
Vaccine Panel Chair Says Polio and Other Shots Should Be Optional, Rejecting Decades of Science
Dr. Kirk Milhoan, a pediatric cardiologist who leads the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, said a person’s right to refuse a vaccine outweighed concerns about illness or death from infectious diseases.

I'm glad Kmet got that last TD, because he's a solid player that has been overshadowed by Loveland's emergence. The Bears' future is bright. I think they're one elite edge rusher away from the Super Bowl. It's been a great year for long suffering Bears fans.

Fox ignores the Bo Nix story and then vaguely teases it during halftime show going into a commercial.

Talk about burying the lede.

I wonder what Richard Lugar would say about this.

They couldn’t inform Congress because Congress leaks. Congress should subpoena Polymarket for the identity of this bettor.
This person went on a buying spree over the past 24 hours. Fresh wallet. Only existed since Dec 27th and has only bet on Venezuela-related markets.

"The newspaper industry served as a feeder for our entire news media ecosystem. So when we lose those newspapers, we've lost that journalism. In the early 2000s, we had 40 journalists per 100,000 people. We're now down to 8 journalists per 100,000 people," says @victorpickard.bsky.social.

What Sen. Bohacek is demonstrating is basic decency. Sad that it even has to be said.
Indiana GOP Sen. Bohacek on Trump's use of r-word: "When it seems quite clear we're isolating a population by use of a slur, at some point you have to speak out... it's a word used to denigrate the intellectually disabled community... you can't validate slurs like that... it's a matter of character"

Wife is putting our ornaments on the tree and just put up a Bo ornament (modeled after the Obamas' dog) we bought at the gift shop in the East Wing of the White House in 2016. That gift shop, along with the entire East Wing is now rubble in some golf course. Shit.
