Maybe if they want less pressure on themselves they should tax the rich.

And if they couldn't get any worse. I hate that I keep talking about politics, but Labour actually needs to do one. The Online Safety Act is awful with it's censorship and lackadaisical approach to data security, but digital IDs? Fuck off. Actually fuck off.

I encourage any Google Pixel users to try GrapheneOS. It's actually brilliant how you can have a modern feeling usable phone for social medias and still having great security.

So Angela Rayner taxes, the Online Safety Act, keeping the Two-Child Cap, appealing to a far right which will never vote for them.

I can't wait until 2029 everybody!!!

(Praying Jeremy Corbyn gets Your Party going asap)

Well time to rant about the #OnlineSafetyAct again 🧵

Wikipedia has lost its court case with the UK government, essentially this means that big brother--sorry ofcom can decide whether Wikipedia should adhere to its age verification rules. I.e up to ofcom whether they censor Wikipedia (probably will)

I've spoken about this enough. The Online Safety Act will be overturned. Either by Labour getting scared of losing the 2029 election so they repeal as many unpopular laws as possible or by Reform getting in due to Labour's incompetence.

I hope it's the first.

If any blue sky member in Holborn and St Pancras wants to write to Keir Starmer that'd be greatly appreciated.

Alternatively, write to government!

Unfortunately (at least for now) using OBS virtual camera and the portrait of one of the UK Government's cabinet members does not work.

I will try again at some point.

Write to your MPs about the Online Safety Act. This is a law I imagine the majority of this country do not want. The petition can only get us so far.

The UK Online Safety act is trying to ban access to Wikipedia.

It ain't about safety.

To my fellow Brits!

There's currently a petition to repeal the online safety act. While it's already reached its goal to be debated in Parliament, showing more support could help turn more people in Government around.

I'm ok with confirming my age for certain features, new UK legislation that's fine. But I swear to God I have to use Yoti. Yoti is so terrible. "Estimating your age" doesn't work when you have a baby face and get reminded of it all the time.

Is it stupid to predict there's gonna be a riot against the US government in 2026?

Epstein, BBB and ICE are really showing how bad MAGA is turning against Trump.

Maryam Moshiri is worth the BBC Licence fee. Because there's no reason to say "I've just been told I've been sacked" live on a UK news channel except for a laugh.
