If I, a British Citizen, am able to prove that I am a British Citizen for work through the means of a passport WHY DO I NEED DIGITAL ID? That's the point, I don't. I can almost see the point of forcing it for migrants and having it optional for UK citizens. But it's forced on us.

I'm also praying (and I can't believe I'm saying this) 4chan wins their court case.

Because if American companies get the right to say no, then companies from the EU, Asia, and all these others can tell the UK Govt to go fuck itself.

I can't wait to leave this shithole, though I'll miss Liverpool.

So: Wikipedia, X, Apple, Bluesky, Google, Microsoft, Discord, Reddit, Meta, "The Hub", Amazon, and all other major Tech companies and Organisations. Leave the UK and show our truly terrible leaders that this can't go on.

I was hoping to move out of the UK in the future anyway, but seeing this government's utter incompetence in recognising that this law, in fact, puts more people at risk than it's worth has especially made the decision easier for me.
