Is there a way to prevent that little box from popping up letting you know you just followed someone? I can't click it away and it sits there blocking my screen for several seconds.

I went out to see if the Northern Lights were visible, but all I saw were stars and a few lights. I decided to take a photo of the stars. My husband opened the door and startled me at the exact moment I snapped the photo. This is the result.

I saw a garter snake on the trail while hiking with my dog in northern Colorado today. I have never seen a snake in January before. Ever. 😳

We're supposed to leave for a birding trip to Panama in a few weeks, but who knows if we'll be able to go because of all the political unrest. I'm not sure I even want to go because honestly... I'm kinda scared.

Yesterday my dogs and I hiked 2.5 miles up a mountain to look for a geocache. We got within 1/4 mile of it, but there was still a big ravine between us and the cache. We're all old so we gave up and sat down to ate our lunch instead. I didn't find the geocache, but I did get to enjoy this view.
