So intro time for the new folks. I’m a storyboard and occasional concept artist for film and tv. I’ve worked on Star Trek Discovery, Pacific Rim, IT, The Thing, loads more. I used to draw comics for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and 2000ad/Dredd. I designed Pennywise’s smile makeup by accident one day.

Found an old bottle of liquid plumber for the sink that keeps blocking. Poured it in. It’s too old and has properly blocked the sink. Been a good day for that stuff

If you accidentally post AI slop and are told “hey that’s AI” the correct answer is to go “aw shit I didn’t know” and delete it. Not “oh oops oh well, watcha gonna do” and keep it up because it’s giving you engagement. Stop it.

My spare Apple Pencil pro is missing. I think it’s in my office but I didn’t put it in one of the 2 safe places and remember not doing that. Do I look for it? No I instantly jump online to order a new one in a panic. Stopped myself. I’ll look for it but I always do that with everything

I read the full George Miller piece in The Guardian. I agree with somr of what comes later but they certainly did use that headline for rage bait. Also, comparing Gen AI to the invention of oil pants is bollocks. Oil paint isn’t made from stolen art and painted off site then shown to you
