Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil

All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world
So there was only one thing that I could do…”

Take over (or rebuild/restore) and run a small local cinema.
What's your absolutely unworkable plan to drop out of your current life (or at least work life) and do something completely different?

Back from holiday (and back to Croydon which, after a few hours in Brussels this afternoon, feels like a step up tbh).

This guy seems pleased to see me, though, and at least the postie has been…

This is a really good idea. Can you think of any other films to at didn’t get a fair shake because of Covid? I think Malick’s A Hidden Life would’ve had a better theatrical run.

Was once stood by Mani in the foyer of the QEH ahead of an Arthur Lee show. Mani spotted B Gillespie across the room, 50-odd feet away He started shouting BOB! BOB! BOBBBBBB! Until Gillespie bashfully acknowledged him. At which point he shouted ALRIGHT BOB? with a big grin and went back to his chat.

Worked with Mani for a few years, kept in touch ever since. One of the nicest, funniest people in rock n roll music. He made great records sound a lot fucking heavier too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk_W...

It’s the exclusive everyone wanted, the story that will win next year’s Pulitzer…

I can reveal London’s giant AI generated Christmas artwork, the subject of much online mockery, is being torn down - and I honestly *genuinely* think you’ll never guess why. www.londoncentric.media/p/ai-artwork...
London's giant AI artwork to be torn down
The bizarre story of why a much-talked-about creation is being torn down. Plus: Docklands Light Railway extension, giant laser stalks the night sky, and more tales of Android phone theft rejection.

Shoutout to rucksacks that have a laptop bit, which, when not holding your laptop, is for storing your new book, ‘just to keep it nice’.
