Who am I if I’m not a #DevelopmentalBiologist? A (long) thread. Today on my re-introduction to BlueSky, I would like to tell you how I got here. I am a #FirstGen college attendee and graduate. I was raised in a single-parent household. We struggled financially when I was growing up. 1/
This hits really close to home! I am all about being silly and bringing my two sides (serious scientist and ridiculous person) to work. Life is too short and too hard to save the fun for later. ❤️

It’s been a rough day so far but I want you to know that I accidentally dropped my iPhone 16 Pro that was in a basic Otterbox case out of a 10-story window to a roof below- and not only did the security people find it but the phone survived WITHOUT A SCRATCH ON IT.
