Had my local office supply store spiral-bind my copy of Dr. Finn's Book of Solo Strategy and Word Games. Although I have the PDF, I prefer having it in hand and ready to photocopy scoresheets as needed. Rules are easy to reference, too, when it's laid out flat. @drfinnsgames.bsky.social #boardgames

Really great thread about reviews & previews of boardgames and how to match with a content creator.
For what my opinion is worth - MOST content creators cannot bring in a meaningful volume of backers so I'm shifting away from viewing them as buzz build. Where I'm seeing value in content is in playthroughs. Have them ready when you launch. If they air earlier, have lead capture ready.
Advice request:
Is it better to have review coverage in advance of a crowd funding campaign, to build buzz, or better to have that review coverage happen during the campaign so people can back it right away when they see it? 🎲✂️

Awesome! I recently played some of the Americana maps, they really add some variety once you've hit like 20 plays on the base game and need some freshness haha. Also, Up! and Underworld are still essential imho.
