3/ The founders did not put into the Constitution a ban on party control of power because they believed in freedom of expression and assembly with like minded folks (in the 1stA). In Federalist Paper #10, Madison explained why such a ban wasn’t placed in the Constitution (the part about “air”).

2/ … pleadings to future generations to not allow organized political parties from CONTROLLING govt functions & power. Yes, the founders left a lot out of the Constitution they thought (hoped) wouldn’t be required.

For instance, they viewed reps/sens/presidents as STATESMEN (not criminals👇), people with integrity who‘d stand up for norms that would guide our governance.

They wrote OUTSIDE the Constitution…1/

2/ … that majority in power only talks about THE ENDS (policy results), not THE MEANS by which it intends to achieve those ends. And many Americans pay attention just to the ends propaganda, ignoring the means. Especially now, under Trump fascism under which almost ever means is UNLAWFUL.

In his first term, I’d say it was close to 50% that was a lie.

1. not holding hearings/a floor vote for Garland for almost a year because he was nominated by a D prez.
2. but shoving thru Barrett’s nomination after RBG died because she was nominated by an R prez.
