2/ … that majority in power only talks about THE ENDS (policy results), not THE MEANS by which it intends to achieve those ends. And many Americans pay attention just to the ends propaganda, ignoring the means. Especially now, under Trump fascism under which almost ever means is UNLAWFUL.

We’re currently in a place where NOTHING is believable from Trump’s mouth or any of his regime sycophants. NOTHING.

In his first term, I’d say it was close to 50% that was a lie.

1. not holding hearings/a floor vote for Garland for almost a year because he was nominated by a D prez.
2. but shoving thru Barrett’s nomination after RBG died because she was nominated by an R prez.

It’s like when BP’s Deepwater Horizon disaster spilled oil into the Louisiana seafood ecosystem, BP made a big public deal about helping businesses affected by the disaster.

But I’m originally from that area. I know millions of ordinary folks depend on that seafood too. BP gave nothing to them.

2/ But at the beginning of the Biden admin, moderate senator, Toomey of PA, led an effort in the Senate to overcome a filibuster on those two firearms concepts. He collected enough Rs to overcome that filibuster. BUT, the Ds added OTHER STUFF to the bill, thus negating Toomey's effort.

If you closely read the Constitution and the words of the founders explaining the new constitution they’d written (Federalist Papers, etc), it’s pretty clear ***they feared standing armies**** in the midst of citizens of the United States. Trump’s actions are completely unlawful acts of an autocrat.
