With all the trees complete and the weather looking decent next week Im prepping for the next place. Goodbye trees goodbye sweet workstation.

One of the trees I am thinning out. It was a broom style tree the owner landscaped but after its base cracked and it fell over this tree just stubbornly kept growing.

The last of my bonsai work is postponed til after the mist/ rain clears up. Poor baby has few roots and many branches so it keeps tipping over.

Whoever said it doesn't snow in California is sorely mistaken. My recent collected plants were upsidedown outside so they have been repotted in whatever dry soil I could find and placed in timeout.

Tried to behave at the workaway spot but after a chat about how my host "might" want a bonsai I found this tree in a rock pocket. Its been a week or so and noone has scolded me. ⊙﹏⊙

Finally made it to a new mountain in Mid-California. The stealing pack worked pretty well.

First try cooking at an altitude of 3000. Sweet potato soup. Used vegetable stock, garlic, butter, turnip, sweet potato, celery, and carrots. And a roasted bell pepper for good luck!!

A new friend from the bonsai meeting let me borrow his skills (and his tools) to make my first all cedar box. \(ϋ)/
He looked a bit perturbed when I said I was going to travel in its local range to one of Oregon's connecting states. But the journey continues!!!
