That is an interesting question. They are very hardy plants in their native environment sometimes even falling over and still growing but I haven't tried before.

I believe these ones were all planted on a cliffside after a fire to the womans property. I have been collecting the ones that wouldn't make it this summer on the cliffside.

Oh yes that's the way take it nice and slow as the trees really appreciate it. A hurricane took out all but 3 of my collection out 8ish months ago. So I'm so cherishing working on trees for others on this trip.
