Memories of long ago

I used to do distributed computing projects for BOINC@heidelberg

They made me feel like I belonged, which at that time did not happen often. I sincerely hope they are doing well.

I am chuckling because Google's AI thinks Bob Feller could have surpassed Babe Ruth's home run record at the time if there was no World War II. No doubt Bob was a fine player, but there is a problem with Google's assessment.

Bob was a pitcher, a quite good one. Not a slugger.

Dumb confession time!

I actually said "Giggity" when I realized I had food put up in the fridge for me..
It was not a naughty exclamation, just an acknowledgement that food was there and I was happy.

I was unable to run horse girl racing game on my laptop.
I honestly think it saved me from some suffering as I would be pretty heartbroken seeing the race's participants sad after not doing so well.
