Decided to change my handle to a new "pen-name" of sorts

I'm still fine with being called Tom but I like "Robin" becuz

- the best bird
- matches my silly username
- gender neutral
- not as boring a name
- handy for RPGs where I can name the protagonist

I can only hope there's push-back on a grand scale. I'm sure the heavy hitters will weather the storm but I doubt I'll be picking up Assassins Creed again or even Mass Effect 4

The AAA games industry* is increasingly seeing generative AI as the silver bullet to solve long development cycles and rising labor costs. They may not announce it like below, but they're all implementing it within development pipelines.

*Pretty much all large game devs at this point.

Honestly it might have the best writing in the series, building on what worked best in S/V

Still not feeling one city was the best choice though especially with the lack of variance in music. There have been some nice surprises at least.

When I wrote about games years ago he followed everyone on the team. I followed back as a courtesy but not for long

It was a clear grab for the widest audience, big or small, so he'd have a platform for things like this
