I think there's essentially 2 types of RP guild leaders: The ones where the guild is their primary motivation and the ones where the guild is just there to prop up their character and to make sure they are always the centre of attention. What you describe sounds like the latter.

I'm toying with the idea of turning my Alliance house in Midnight into a small Draenei star ship. There's some decent assets for it as far as I can see. The only thing that's really missing is a view of the stars.
