Minneapolis has seen a stunning 1,646% spike in calls from families who can't pay rent because they're afraid to leave their homes to work.

This is state violence manufacturing housing precarity in real time.

People should not be facing eviction when their city is under occupation.

The closest we’ll get is Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and Greg Bovino won’t be allowed on TV for a few weeks. Then they’ll pretend this never happened.
In other words, there will be no apologies and no "walking back" of anything (despite reporting to that effect). No accountability. Nobody fired or disciplined. And as I said, they will just bs this until it goes away for them with the next outrage.

The Second Amendment has been reinterpreted as a liability waiver.
Risk assumed. Rights conditional.
Leavitt: Any gun owner knows when you are carrying a weapon and are confronted by law enforcement, you are raising the assumption of risk and the risk of force being used against you.

Disorder was reclassified as a cooperation failure.
Over the last 48 hours, the talking point on the right has solidified; the only reason that we are seeing violent clashes against ICE is because of sanctuary policies and failure to cooperate from city officials who are fanning the flames.

Take a look; it's wild how quickly they're all adopting it.

I am watching protestors disarm smoke bombs by deploying a lead person to place a neon cone over the gas, another person to run over and pour in a liquid, and a last person to cap the hole in the cone, which diffuses the gas immediately.

The actions of the U.S. federal government are going to stir up an insurgency in American cities. Part of me thinks that was their game plan all along.
I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

The charitable interpretation of this is that Tony Gonzales wrongfully believes ICE only arrests people who have already been ordered removed, which is not true (and in many cases when people have been removed, they don't know about it and thus are unaware of any such "process" having occurred).
