Detroiter retired in Panamá. Detroit Lions Pistons Tigers, Liverpool Football Club, grindhouse cinema, heavy fucking metal. Dictators, oppression, religion, borders, the Packers, and Manchester United can all get bent. Equality for all.

Ah cool that you dig it. It's definitely on my release of the year list so far. I also can't wait for the next one.

lol I almost wrote something similar but I don't really feel qualified to call someone something like that. But... what I always thought is that he would be great in a band with other song writers. His full control always seemed to be the problem for me.

First show I ever saw in 89 opening up for Testament (Wrathchild America too). At 15, one of the best nights of my life. There I said something nice because fuck I really hate these vocals lol. Waters is good but I could never fully get into any of his records, only kinda.

I am such an internet ding dong sometimes.

- Friend sends me something about the movie Good Boy
- I remember something interesting I saw about it on bluesky but can't remember who posted it
- I search for "good boy" on bluesky

OH LORD NO PLEASE MAKE IT STOP WHY?!?!

Speaking of orange cats, new Heathcliff comics are wildly amusing to me nowadays. It's just some straight up nonsense. Lazy art and horribly not funny "funny" jokes, if that's what they are. As a sicko I kinda love it.

Firm believer that nostalgia is a toxic impulse.

Poking around the internet the biggest complaint is that it was intentionally vanilla and unfunny. Fair, but I legit found G hilarious as a kid. So maybe not younger people, I realized that I am exactly the right age to love this. But... come on man.

I am not familiar with this Garfield critique and while the internet has given me some nuggets, I'm interested to your specific point. Please enlighten when you can!

The vote was weird. As a half hour animated special, there is some merit to the Garfield one I will say.

Also, younger people. 🤷‍♂️

Watched these back to back for a challenge in a discord server I'm on. There was subsequent voting on which is better and the results were shocking.

If you get an external drive like I have you can just rip them when they hit this phase. As long as you have the hard drive space.

As long as you've had a few pops and are nearly sleepy. It's that vibe. It's really well done.

Phantasmaptapes is a "television program" mashing up The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962) and The Revenge of Dr. X (1970) with an amazing new score. Cut in with commercials and other weirdness.

I've watched this two nights in a row. It's not for everyone but this is one of my favorite releases of 2025. From @bleedingskull.bsky.social, 72 minutes of pure mindfuck beauty. Incredible music over two movies stitched together with weirdness.

Still my favorite color combination for a team ever.

Logo of the Day: Michigan Panthers (USFL, 1983-84). A unique colour scheme of champagne, burgundy, and blue. Giant panther on the helmets. First-ever USFL champion, revived for the new USFL from 2022 to 25.

I also like that generally, those are short
rstrye.bsky.social
I really should dig into those. Like, I've seen them all but probably not in decades. Somewhat adjacent, I just picked up a physical release that as a bonus has new scans of Nosferatu and Phantom from the 20s. I get so mired down in trash I ignore the classics often heh.

As a lifelong Tigers fan and Cubs hater, thanks. We've weirdly really come around to him this season.

I love these short clips because I'm never gonna watch this show but now I got something to bring up to my wife during dinner. Looking forward to hearing her go off on these people in a few hours.
