The #Government sneaked this report out hoping nobody would notice it because it's pretty scary stuff. Don't let them get away with it - let's share it as widely as possible:

An interesting read on #TfL's plans to 2030: board.tfl.gov.uk/documents/s2... Good to see further investment in #walking and #cycling although given #cycle journeys grew over 12% in 2025 the target of c 6-7% growth to 2030 seems rather unambitious.

We agree - time for a #FrequentFlyerLevy and higher tax on #PrivateJets
The future of aviation is not airport expansion, its smarter, fairer aviation policy.

We know how much the average family values their family holiday, and we're not trying to take that away. What we want, is for the biggest polluters to start paying their fair share.

“45% of women say that direct, traffic free paths to town centres would encourage them to cycle more, and 39% say physically separated cycle lanes would make the biggest difference”. We need more investment in safe cycling routes around towns and schools to build on the progress on commuter routes.
💬 Big moment for #MyRideOurRight

Yesterday, MPs from across parties debated women’s safety while walking, wheeling, cycling and running, hearing how road design must reflect real experiences and why safety fears still deter many from cycling.

It's bad enough in the UK where you can be threatened with jail for a #PeacefulProtest holding up a sheet of paper. How much worse in the US where there's a risk of being shot for protesting peacefully. Scroll down for BBC Verify's verdict on ICE's version of events:

If this is true richmond.nub.news/news/local-n... it's good news. But it might just be that victims aren't reporting thefts since the British Transport Police said they wouldn't bother investigating thefts of bikes from stations left for over 2 hours or worth less than £200.
Bike thefts at Richmond stations halve since 2023 despite zero arrests in two years
Bicycle thefts at Richmond railway stations have halved since 2023, but no arrests were made in the last two years, despite CCTV and patrol efforts.

Great news for active travel London-wide - congratulations @saveoursaferstreets.org on an historic legal victory #LTN
Court of Appeal just ruled Tower Hamlets DECISION to remove the Bethnal Green LTN is UNLAWFUL.

Councils can't remove without going through proper process & getting Mayor of London's approval.

This is a MASSIVE precedent for London. Years of work vindicated.
