Also so many small tasks are just that, small tasks. The little paint treasures where you shoot three targets feels like a much more streamlined I spy game than similar mechanics in other great games. Someone else I follow on here said this but this game really respects your time

Like having the open visual experience be the default and a button to press for quick info is preferable to me, I honestly lose my suspension of disbelief in most games cuz they make you look at stats/maps/etc and i think “if im role playing this character forreal wouldnt they be lost??”

The small thing that makes a BIG impact for me with Clair Obscur is no mini map or UI cluttering up the screen, just go wander and explore and enjoy, more games need this level of respect for the visual wanderer experience
