With 2 days to go I’m 51km away from my running target of 2500 km for the year. Unfortunately I’ve picked up a nasty respiratory dose so I’m going to do the grown-up thing & call it- it’s close enough! #RunningPunks

Them: It’s Mexican night, chilli is in the oven & rice is cooking. There is plenty of tequila BUT there is no Triple Sec for Margaritas 😱. The off-licence is 2km away, it shuts in 30 minutes & we don’t have a car!! Surely all is lost 😭

The Great Escape, a Christmas day run complete with Herons. But just like Steve McQueen, I am now back in the compound & sentenced to wearing non-running clothes and making polite conversation about non-running topics. Time to start digging another tunnel! #RunningPunks #NaughtyNutCrackers

Up at 4am to watch the cricket (😱) and spent the rest of the day ‘assisting’ herself to put up Christmas decorations. Put off going for a run until it was really dark, cold & wet 🥶 but needed to log a few more km’s for the #NaughtyNutcrackers in the @runup2christmas.bsky.social

It definitely counts. Fair play to anyone who can run that far on a treadmill. I did 5km on a hotel treadmill last week and it felt like I had been running for a month.
I mean, I'd rather run through a blizzard than on a treadmill, so I definitely think indoor runs aren't cheating.
