I watched the last Season Strange New Worlds over Christmas and consider it top notch - Star Trek at its best, in the original idea of Roddenberry and the Original Series.

Wir haben einen Bodensatz von 20% sehr rechts stehenden Personen … das ändert sich seit den 1980ern nicht. Was also ist deren Platz in parlamentarischer Politik? Ne eigene faschistische Partei? Eingebunden in eine rechtskonservarive? Nörgelnd als Nichtwähler?
Verschwinden tun die leider nicht.

Ich bin mir da nicht so sicher.
Zu der Zeit wo Dregger und Strauss die CDUCSU repräsentiert haben - und was hab ich die damals gehasst! - gab es das Gepolter auch, umgesetzt wurde das wenigste, und es gab keinen Platz für eine Partei rechts der CDU. Vielleicht war das besser.

Ich bin mir da nicht so sicher.

Es gibt ein paar Merkwürdigkeiten, viele am Anfang, einige später, und es ist noch eklektizistischer als üblich. Aber viel davon passt in sich schlüssig in die Tradition dieser Gruppen und ihrer Erklärungen; wenn das russisch initiiert wäre würde ich deutlich mehr Konfusion im Text erwarten.

OK, they are assholes, I agree. But you did marry them out of free will, free choice, on your own judgement … shouldnt that lead to some self-critizism???

Was heißt denn hier „frei“? Unter US-Aufsicht oder mit der US-Drohung „Wenn uns das Ergebnis nicht passt kommen wir wieder!“ geht das wohl kaum.
UN Aufsicht und Gewaltverzichtsgarabtie der USA (auch wenn das Öl staatlich bleibt zB) wären wohl Mindestbeingungen!

I doubt there is any euipment the russians have not yet lost on Ukrainian soil and received from Ukraine to check on, but anyway …

Sadly, many (most!) people do not vote in their own interest.
Look how many women voted for Trump, the rapist. Unimaginable, but happened. And the poor, too … they will pay a high price for that, but vote for the next populist again nevertheless …

A lot of wars habe been started only to distract from a governements problems, or to project a strong man image; not for any plausible goal related to the attacked nation.
