In order to pledge fealty to the great leader, everyone will have to paint their face bright orange. "Orange" by Melania will be available in stores soon.

Spends more time slagging off Britain in America than he ever does doing his job in his constituency.

Didn't have Alan Whicker chic as the new, edgy look for young Tories in my mind's eye.

Quite possibly. However, personally, I sometimes find moments of catharsis in it all even if it's just howling into the void. And, I think there is some comfort to be had in seeing there are others who share similar views and values and who haven't caved into the right wing hell hole of now.

Reform UK’s Councillor Rowland O’Connor, St. Columb Major, has resigned from the party.

A conspiracy theorist who claimed 17m people have died from the COVID vaccine, among many other claims.

Twelve Jobs Nigel has earned over £1 million in additional income since the general election.

To understand the scale of it, since the July 2024 election he's earned roughly £100k more as a brand ambassador for Direct Bullion than Starmer gets as PM.

Oh God...for some reason I'm remembering the "Power stance" period around the time of Cameron and May. Who told them it was a good idea? It felt like it was almost a piss-take by the spads - "No, don't worry! You'll look cool and commanding and not like an epic twat at all!"

Policy-wise, perhaps. But Johnson's personal behaviours which he's displayed in all his roles - journalist, MP, Mayor - the entitlement; the lying, the performative buffoonery, the laziness, the bloated egotism; I think were magnified as PM and damaged the Tories. Him just being him was damaging.

Doing the right thing, rather than the politically convenient thing, can reap rewards at many levels.

Thanks to London’s bold action, almost 10 million people are now breathing cleaner air.

That means fewer children will grow up with stunted lungs and fewer people will have to suffer from asthma, dementia and heart disease.

Enjoyed a splendid evening of majestic metal at Manchester's Albert Hall last night headlined by mighty cosmic prog death metallers Blood Incantation ably supported by Finland's avant garde extremists Oranssi Pazuzu and Sumerian mythos obsessed death metal power trio Sijjin. Great stuff!

Reform says one thing and does the opposite - this is not reforming our politics, it’s what we’ve come to expect after 14 years of Tory rule - is there really any difference between Reform and the Tories? I can’t see it.

It could be argued that he pretty much destroyed the Tories too- Truss and Sunak were pretty much symptoms in the debris he left behind. In that sense, probably one of the most destructive party leaders ever.

Apart from anything else, the Arts are a huge source of revenue for the UK. So, even by their own values, this is a stupid notion above and beyond the crude ignorance of it.

Badenoch and Co see education only as a means to a massive income in some soul destroying career.

Devoid of imagination and the power of knowledge they view life entirely through the prism of the CV.

My advice always is to study what interests you and the rest will follow
