You have to admire his tenacity in disrupting the studio system.
It’s an understandably divisive film but the fact it’s not just some “amateur YouTuber schlock” and instead an unapologetically weird cosmic horror with some genuine creative and curious craft is beautiful to me.

THE BONE TEMPLE is a brutally audacious follow up to 28 YEARS LATER that largely sidelines the infected to explore cultism, trauma, psychosis and compassion.
I really like its uncompromising, idiosyncratic ambition. Be warned, it’s far more polarising than 28YL.
