Happy to see so many familiar faces arriving. I've been posting our Hawkeye Headquarters stories here all season (no paywalls), along with playing a few of my #Hawkeyes hits from before. Shout out to @iahawks101.bsky.social, who has been finding everyone for a while & bringing us all together.

The shutout is impressive. But making it even moreso:

Wisconsin never crossed the Iowa 35 yard line.

And since I saw someone ask elsewhere, it's the #Hawkeyes' first shutout of a Big Ten team on the road since 2019 at Northwestern.

And because I love any excuse to bring back my 2019 videos, here's AJ Epenesa after that Northwestern shutout, the last time the #Hawkeyes blanked a Big Ten team on the road before tonight. "The mentality is obviously to never let anybody score. We don't want anybody to put any points on the board."

As Chauncey Golston said after that 2019 shutout, "You can beat any team if they don't score, so that was really nice." #Hawkeyes

You like history. I like history. Well, the #Hawkeyes made some Saturday: "It was the first time the Badgers had been shut out at Camp Randall Stadium since 1980. Iowa hadn’t blanked the Badgers in Wisconsin since 1929."

Final: #Hawkeyes 37, Wisconsin 0. That's 5 out of 6 for the Hawks, which pulls them even in the Heartland Trophy series, 10-10. The overall series is now just 49-48-2 in the Badgers' favor.

"Caitlin should be grateful that she makes $16 million off the court, because without the platform the #WNBA gives her, she wouldn't make anything." The conversation with Commissioner Cathy Engelbert relayed by Napheesa Collier is an insult to Clark & #Hawkeyes fans who witnessed her rise pre-Fever.

She directly quotes conversations with Cathy Englebert that legitimately call into question how the WNBA is being led. (Part 1/2) #WNBASky

i am trying to come up with things one could ACTUALLY miss about 2002 because they're gone now and the best i can come up with is "serena and venus meeting in slam finals"

There was one possible sequence for Indiana to salvage the two-minute warning, including a raft of help from Iowa, and the Hoosiers just got it.
